Delaware Wedding Guide
Delaware is a pioneering state and is the home of one of the first log cabins ever constructed in North America brought over by the Finnish back in the 1600's. Delaware offers a lot of history with many of the first settlements in the country preserved there. Beautiful quiet beaches such as the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach offer a great setting for a beach wedding theme.
Delaware also offers many historic locations for weddings such as the The Read House and Gardens built by the son of one of the Declaration of Independence signers, the Old Swedes Church, and the Old Town Hall on Market Street in Wilmington. Delaware is the 2nd smallest state in the nation just behind Rhode Island. If it's on your wedding wish list, then you can expect typical weather patterns for a northeastern state which includes perfect spring and summer temperatures topping out around the mid 80's, fall temps in the low 70's with chillier nights., and pretty bitter winter weather, but not unbearable enough to chase off your winter wedding plans.
